718 Spyder, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 hand-drawn sports car released
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, the Porsche GT car entry model, and
the Porsche 718 Spyder, designed to conquer various corners. The two
hand-operated sports cars share the technical foundation for the first time,
including the newly developed 4.0-liter six-cylinder natural intake engine.
With a six-speed manual transmission; this horizontal-to-horizon engine has 309
kW (420PS) of power output, adding two exciting top sports cars to the Porsche
718 family. In Germany, the price of the tax included, the starting price of
Spyder is 93,350 euros, and the price of the Cayman GT4 is 96,206 euros. The price
of Taiwan is yet to be announced.

Exciting high-speed natural intake
engine
The Porsche 718 Spyder and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 are all
equipped with the new 4.0-liter six-cylinder horizontal-to-horse engine. This
high-speed engine is derived from the turbocharged engine system of the 911
Carrera. The power output is more than the previous generation Cayman GT4. 35
PS, to 309 kW (420 PS); while the third-generation Spyder power is up to 45 PS;
at 5,000 to 6,800 rpm, the highest torque is 420 Nm.
The speed of both hand-operated sports cars exceeds 300
km/h. The 718 Spyder comes to 301 km/h, while the 718 Cayman GT4 looks at 304
km/h; the two sports cars 0-100 km/h accelerates in just 4.4 seconds.
According to the NEDC standard, the fuel consumption data for the two
mid-engine sports cars are 10.9 l/100 km. The fascinating GT engine delivers
linear, sleek power output and dynamic response. The engine has a top speed of
8,000 rpm and maintains an unmatched level of swaying sound.
New features include an active cylinder control system that
temporarily shuts down one of the cylinders during partial load to improve fuel
consumption. The engine's direct fuel injection technology uses Piezo
injectors, the first high-speed engine to use this injector. The Piezo injector
divides the injection process into five separate injection strokes to create a
complete, low-emission combustion process. A variable intake system with two
resonant valves ensures the most stable cylinder gas exchange.

Air force efficiency: higher
downforce with the same drag coefficient
One of the many features of the 718 Cayman GT4 is its
superior air performance. The downforce is increased by 50% without affecting
the coefficient of wind resistance, and its outstanding aerodynamic efficiency
should be proved. The aerodynamics of both sports cars benefit from the new
single-chamber arched rear silencer, which frees up space for the rear to accommodate
a functional deflector, which increases the downforce of the GT4 rear axle by
30%. The fixed spoiler at the rear also increases the air force efficiency,
increasing the downforce by 20% compared to the previous generation, while at a
speed of 200 km/h, the downforce is increased by 12 kg. The GT-designed front
has a large front spoiler kit and air diversion holes to maintain an excellent
air balance; the diversion holes also smooth the airflow through the front
wheels.

Porsche 718 Spyder: a convertible
with a lightweight canopy
The all-new 718 Spyder is a purebred sports car with an
emphasis on driving pleasure, equipped with a lightweight convertible top that
can easily handle high speeds. The car has a history of the famous convertible
two-seaters such as the Porsche 550 Spyder and the 718 RS 60 Spyder. Regardless
of the switch canopy, the 718 Spyder has a breathtakingly beautiful silhouette.
The convertible top is suitable for everyday driving and can be folded down
under the trunk lid in a few simple steps. Unlike the GT4, the 718 Spyder has a
rear spoiler that automatically rises at 120 km/h. Benefiting from a functional
deflector, the 718 Spyder is also the first in the Boxster family to generate
rear axle downforce.

High-performance GT chassis:
optimized for top dynamics
The 718 Spyder is the first to feature the 718 Cayman GT4's
high-performance GT chassis, and the excellent cornering dynamic creates an
exciting driving experience. The improved lightweight front and rear suspension
spring columns are derived from racing technology and are connected to the
chassis via ball joints. The 30 mm height of the Porsche Active Suspension
Adjustment System (PASM) reduces the center of gravity and improves the lateral
dynamic potential. The adjustment of the track orientation makes the 718 Cayman
and GT4 more sensitive, and the 718 Spyder benefits from this system. The
Porsche Body Dynamic Stabilization System (PSM) improves driving sensitivity
and accuracy, but can still be turned off in two steps. Porsche Torque
Separator (PTV) with mechanical rear differential locking further enhances
longitudinal and lateral dynamics, cornering performance and driving pleasure.
The GT4 is also available with the Clubsport kit, which includes a steel rear
roll cage, a hand-held fire extinguisher and a six-point seat belt for the
driver's seat.

Excellent trackability: strong brake the system, ultra-high performance tires
The 718 Spyder and 718 Cayman GT4's high-performance brake
systems feature a single fixed caliper brake that provides consistent braking
performance for track driving and an optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake
System (PCCB). One of the new 718 Spyders is an ultra-high performance (UHP)
tire specially developed for Porsche. The 718 Cayman GT4 is better than the
previous generation with a gap of more than 10 seconds at the 20.6 km Newcastle
North Ring circuit. Record.
