The mink is not a specific skin! So what is it and how it was made?

Because of the feeling of short plush on the matte surface, the suede has a good texture and water resistance. It is also used in the production of coats and shoes because of its special touch and visual sense. However, you know that suede is different from cowhide and horseskin. He is not a specific skin and is also much different in nature from ordinary animal skin. Today is a look at what is the skin that everyone loves? How was it made?

You can see the suede in many fashion items.

What is suede?

In fact, the earliest suede in Chinese is the skin of the animal, which was originally taken from the scorpion. But now it is a secondary protected animal. It is impossible to use so many skins. For shoes and clothes, the so-called suede material is now called Suede. It is a special leather processing technique. It is not the skin of this animal, but the texture is close. Therefore, the raw materials of the suede can be cowhide, sheepskin, pigskin, etc., and after processing, it has a smooth matte texture.

Now the suede is made from cowhide, sheepskin, pigskin and so on.

How to make suede?

The processing technology of suede is very different from ordinary leather. In the process of grinding, the inner side of the leather is polished, which is what we usually say is the fur, the grain is bigger, the hardness is rougher and rougher; the outer side of the leather is polished, some say It will be called Niu Ba Ge, and the texture is more delicate like real wild suede or very short fluffy velvet. Strictly speaking, tanned leather is leather made from suede by the oily method. The manufacturing method of artificial suede can be roughly divided into three types: a woven method, a knitting method, and a non-woven method. The feel and appearance of artificial suede are similar to natural suede. It's surface texture is similar to that of natural suede. After special finishing, it is fine, smooth and soft. There are several characteristics of the man in the mink, which makes him loved by everyone.

The method of making suede can be roughly divided into three types: woven method, knitting method, and non-woven method.

Suede characteristics:

1. Unique style

The fibers covering the surface of the fabric are fine and form a multi-layer structure, so that the fabric has a small reflective point, a soft gloss color, and is superb, delicate and delicate. The smaller fiber bending stiffness makes it easy for the fabric to be smooth and chic. The core layer is a thick but high shrinkage yarn which gives the fabric excellent drape. Visual comfort is unique.

2. Significant waterproof and breathable

Usually, the diameter of the raindrop is between 100 and 200 μm, and the water vapor of the human body is about 0.1 μm. By controlling the shrinkage rate and changing the proper fiber gap, it can be woven into a sea-island high-density fabric with a gap of only 0.2 to 10 μm to achieve excellent waterproof and vapor permeability.

The permeability of suede is very good.

3. Excellent comfort

Since the fiber has many voids and is dense, the capillary action can be utilized to obtain better water absorption and an oil absorption of the fabric. The extremely fine fiber makes the fabric soft and smooth and has obvious advantages in terms of touch and physiological comfort.

4. Extensive use

Through the design and processing of fabrics, the extremely fine fiber characteristics of the island fibers can obtain much special fabric styles, such as cashmere, suede, MOSS, ultra-high-density fabrics. Such fabrics can be widely used in clothing, apparel, luggage, interior products and industrial fields.

The use of suede is very extensive, not only clothing or shoes, but also in the bag or furniture.

There is also a suede fabric that uses island fiber to process, and many of its properties are no less than natural suede, with many properties even better than natural suede. The fabric is soft to the touch, has good drape, and is light in weight and is half of the leather. It can be woven into fabrics of different thicknesses and weights; various surface treatments can be carried out to obtain various surface effects. The surface has a three-dimensional effect on writing. Wet heat shrinkage deformation is small, with good breathable waterproof and steam permeable effect, high fabric strength, far superior to natural suede.

Weaving ultra-high-density fabrics, which utilize the shrinkage properties of high-shrinkage yarns can be woven into fabrics with higher density and higher water pressure resistance. Although the density of the fabric is very high, the fabric is very thin, the texture is light, the the drape is good, the color is soft and the hand feels soft and full, the appearance is sturdy and warm while maintaining the considerable moisture permeability and breathability, and the wearing are very comfortable.
